'Come Dine with Me' Fundraising Packs are available - hold a dinner party in your own home with your friends, family, neighbours or colleagues and ask them to make a donation for the meal. The Fundraising pack contains invitations, guidance and suggestions for a really great evening.

'Baby Bottles' Fundraising Packs are now available - collect loose change in a baby bottle and donate to Alternatives. This could be done as part of a wider project with any local group that you are affiliated to, it could be done at work, at school, perhaps collect money through Lent, Advent, leading up to Mother's Day or even over the summer holidays. The fundraising pack contains the baby bottles and other information that will help to make this a fun project.

Take a collection in your organisation, company or church We'd be delighted to come and talk to your organisation or church about the work we do and ways you could connect with us.

Donate your used Postage Stamps & Foreign Currency Donate your used or new postage stamps and we can recycle them to raise money. We can also collect and recycle foreign currency. All of these items can be dropped off at our Mother & Baby Charity Shops (15 Clarendon Road, Watford and Unit 3, 160 Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead) and we'll do the rest. If this is something that your office or workplace would like to help us with, please let us know and we'll provide you with one of our collection jars. This scheme runs in partnership with www.xchangecharity.org

Raise a free donation for us every time you shop online via the Give As You Live website or app. This fundraising website has links with over 4100 online stores including Amazon, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and John Lewis. We welcome any donations of good-quality baby clothes and equipment, children's clothes, books, toys (aged 0-5years) and maternity clothes and goods which we could sell in the shop, or in some cases pass on to families in need.  If you have something you'd like to donate, you can drop it in to our shop between 10am - 4pm Tuesday - Saturday

You can also raise money through any personal activity you choose such as running a marathon, giving up chocolate or doing a sponsored bike ride. Please do get in touch if you'd like to support the work of Alternatives in anyway.
